Description
On offer is a rarely seen and desirable first issue UK Stereo LP.
TITLE: THE PEOPLE BAND.
ARTIST(s) include: Mel DAVIS (EX 3rd Ear Band), Lyn DODSON (EX Keith TIPPET & Soft Machine) & George KHAN (Battered Ornaments and on Mike Westbrook's "Marching Song" album).
LABEL: Purple / White TRANSATLANTIC Records label.
CAT NO: TRA 214.
RECORD: EXCELLENT + condition.
COVER: The none laminated textured single cover has a triangular section of the front picture missing (See photo) towards the top of the openning. I can only think a sticker was previously poorly removed. It has not gone through the cover only the textured picture. There is also a shop name ink stamped at the bottom of the sleeve on the rear and minor storage wear to the edges. Other than this the sleeve would be in overall EXCELLENT condition.
The record is a lovely example of this truely hard to find LP that hardly ever comes up for sale, especially in this condition.
I never use the term MINT unless a record is brand new or I know it has never been played.
All my auctions start at 99p and do not finish early, that way it is fair to all.
