Description
Scarecrow – s/t Private release Spilt Milk SMFM 11278 from 1978 Umbered 510 of a press of 1000
The record has no real signs of play at all and would be M- if not for the fact that, when I got it, the two stickers had been stored in with the record in the sleeve. This has left a surface mark, a sort of hazey imprint on the vinyl, but this has absolutely no affect on the playback, which is M-
The giant poster sleeve is unlaminated white card and has slightly discoloured around the edges, with slight age browning, but is still in nice condition, no tears or stains, just a date written on the back sleeve, as you can see from the pictures.
It comes with a printed sheet giving the history of the band and the recording, one sticker and one, what I believe to be, iron-on T-shirt transfer. Very limited release. Although it is a live recording, the recording quality is great, really clear bright sound. It could easily be a studio recording. And there is some great lead guitar work on this LP. A not well known group, with great musicianship.
