Description
Schumann Brahms Dvorak Rendez-vous Fournier DGG
Entitled “Rendezvous Musicale with Pierre Fournier”, the cellist with Lamar Crowson plays encores with shorter pieces by Schumann (“Adagio & Allegro”), Saint-Saens (“The Swan”), Paganini {“Moses Variations”) and others. A German stereo pressing on the Deutsche Grammophon Label (135 132), the record has a few light surface scuffs, and a mark on the last track of side one that does not sound, and is otherwise of excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with some low-level surface noise. The cover has some minor wear.
