Schumann Cello Concerto Pierre Fournier UK Original Columbia SAX 2282 Magic Notes
Pierre Fournier with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent performs of the Schumann “Cello Concerto” and Tchaikovsky “Variations on a Rococo Theme”. An English stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAX 2282), the labels are Blue / Green with silver radio waves and a magic note logo. The record has a few small scuff marks that do not sound and is otherwise of very good appearance, and plays and sounds superb with some low-level surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed with a ring and some creases.
