This copy is signed and dated Mstislav Rostropovich 1960 Aldeburgh in Cyrillic.
The album cover has a sticker on it that says:-
G.L.A Pritt Wentworth Hotel Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
The hotel is still in the Pritt family and I have contacted them for provenance. I can confirm that Rostropovich was a guest at the hotel and this album was indeed signed by him during the 1961 Aldeburgh Festival for the owner in 1961. I can provide emails as provenance.
Interestingly there are instructions to cut treble and boost base written in pen on the back of the album. presumably these are Mstislavs instruction to Mr Pritt.
The Sleeve and Vinyl are in excellent condition. The record plays without fault.
