Tulip Stereo German Pressing - NM
This is an original German pressing from 1965 on the Deutsche Grammophon label. The label has the distinctive ring of tulips, signifying the vintage of this quality recording. The disc is in outstanding condition. The vinyl looks pristine, however, I have not played this LP. The cover is in exceptional condition. The original inner sleeve and DG outer sleeve are included. The tulip label and band markings indicate a very early pressing.
The inner band markings are:
Side 1: B - V L 9 - B
Side 2: B - IV H 9 ? - A
At the time of this recording, Svjatoslav Richter was considered the "Pianist of the Century". He is heard here with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Warsaw, conducted by Stanslav Wislocki. This is a must have for any collection of fine classical piano.
This record is a recent acquisitions for eBay, that I treat with the same respect as my own.
This record has been cleaned using a Disc Washer. It has been placed in an anti-static sleeve then, the record, liner, placed within the cover box to preserve the condition of both.
Additional photos of record, cover, label, and liner are available upon request. To keep my listing costs low, I’ve only included one photo in this listing.
