Schumann Sonata Christian Ferras DGG SLPM 138 998
Christian Ferras with Pierre Barbizet perform the “Violin Sonatas 1 & 2” and “Romance Op 94” of Schumann. A German stereo pressing on the Deutsche Grammophon Label (SLPM 138 998), the labels have a tulip border and logo with “alle hersteller” at two o’clock. The record is of excellent appearance (no spindle marks), and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover laminate has rubbed a little with a few small creases and indentations.
