Description
This item is the first LP by the Scorpions and features the 17 year old Metal prodigy Michael Schenker on guitar. This is the 1978 repressing of this 1972 release on the Canadian BOMB records label. This is verifiable by the matrix in the dead margin that reads BOMB-101 and is the Paramount pressing which is a bit difficult to get in the US. The cover would have been graded EX- or VG+ because the spine edge is clean, little scuffing, sharp corners and all seams have held their integrity. I downgraded the condition of the cover because of a small rectangular UPC code sticker inexplicably stuck on the front left top edge. In addition to that there's a small price sticker carelessly placed and sloppily removed from dead center (though retouched and repaired well) and one more (carefully) removed tucked in the upper left corner. (Who knows what they do in Canadian record stores??) All that aside the previous owner cared for the record and the vinyl has only one inaudible innocuous small scuff at the end of the last track on side 2. The inlay sleeve has no blow-outs but has yellowed a bit from age and also has a small sticker in the corner on one side that has the number 16 in red ballpoint and above in blue ballpoint "P-gift". For a 47 year old record it's in great shape.
