MikesListeningBooth ???? If you'd like to hear MP3 samples of the actual LP listed, please let me know and I can send you a private link. I play all my vinyl in full as part of grading and also record/convert to hi-res MP3.
Notes:
- Original 1979 Pressing
- Matrix / Runout (Stamped - Side A): 45 275 A 21 / M6 326 973 1 JC Pelle´
- Matrix / Runout (Stamped - Side B): 45 275 B 21 / M6 326 974 1 JC Pelle´
- Bought as part of a personal collection from a collector who kept all their Vinyl in outstanding condition, opting to play once or twice, tape then store. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is is exceptional condition for its age.
- Matrix numbers, sleeve and vinyl all match up to the available info online and this was bought along with a number of other rare original pressings, so I am confident this is the real deal.
Condition - Please read and remember this is a 38 year old item ???? pics are honest so please look.
Vinyl Surfaces
- Visual Inspection Bright Lights - Near Mint
- There are a small number of VERY light hairline marks on each side when looking carefully under bright light.
- Vinyl has been very, very well cared for and has nice sheen.
- No major marks or scratches
- No warping
- No spindle hole damage
Audio Test NM-
- 70s and 80s Picture Discs were known for having dull sound, but this one is very good, though not quite as sharp as a black vinyl from the same era, its still a great and listenable version if you'd wish to play it.
- There are some light background noises and a few light clicks, but these are few and far between and this can be listened to end to end without any degradation of sound quality.
- I've recorded the Vinyl to digital and can provide this as a free download to the winner, or can provide samples (to serious buyers with the feedback to match...sorry, but its time-consuming to arrange)
Original Outer Sleeve NM-
- A few hairline creases from the spine that almost all vintage vinyl has from storage and careful handling
- No splits, minimal spine-wear, minimal edge wear
- Sleeve has retained its black colouring, with no sun-fade or sticker removal marks/residue.
- No pin holes or blu-tack marks, so this has not been hung on a wall for display
Original Heavy Clear Vinyl Inner NM-
- I believe this is the original inner that came with the LP when purchased: it is a perfect fit for the sleeve and is heavy duty clear vinyl plastic (please see pic)
- Very little discolouration and minimal wear
- I transferred the Vinyl into an anti-static sleeve after cleaning, which will be included in the sale.
Shipping & Payment
• Well packaged in stiff, thick card mailer + Stiffeners for protection.
• Vinyl will be removed from inner and securely packed during shipping to prevent splits
• I combine shipping cost for multiple purchases - please contact me to let me know before paying and I will give you a quote.
• I am charged a fee by eBay and PayPal on shipping charges, so I have to add approx 20% to the actual cost of shipping. Please don't be surprised that the amount on the shipping label is different from the amount you paid. I don't make money on shipping but have to cover costs.
