Description
For sale is the third Scott Walker album, SCOTT 3 from 1969. This is a New Zealand pressing released on Philips records. The Serial code is 844236-1Y. The Matrix code is 8442361(2)Y//3(2)-420
Condition
The vinyl appears to be in very good condition. I see only one larger scratch but it is a minor surface scratch and doesn't affect the sound. Otherwise, the vinyl surface is clean and still glossy. When listening to samples of this album, it sounds quite good. There is minor, quiet surface noise almost throughout, but I would say there is no more surface noise than is expected in an album that is almost 50 years old and it is well within tolerable rates. A cleaning may resolve as it doesn't seem to be an issue with the vinyl surface itself.
The cover has a matte finish and still in very good condition considering its age. I see very minor wear on the front and back. The spine is still good. There is a stamp with the former owner's name but it has mostly faded away. The number '503' is written in small lettering on the upper corner of the back side.
