Release InfoThe fifth album by Scott Walker and his first to exclusively feature songs penned by him.
A flop on release and subsequently deleted. Many site the fact that it was released using his real name ‘(Noel) Scott Engel’ rather than his well established stage name.
Revered by David Bowie & Radiohead amongst others.
Presented here in its 1st issue stereo format on Philips Records

Vinyl condition*: EX
Labels: Some rippling to the label on side 2, some spindle marks
Spindle hole: Some light wear to the edge of the hole on both sides
Playing surface: Both sides are clean with some light marks under strong light
Run Off: There are some light circular marks.
Sound*: EX
After listening right through this album, the sound is great with the occasional spell of trace noise. Overall there is great depth and range with nice clear sound. Nice thick press with no skips or jumps.
Overall its a nice sounding copy
Cover & sleeve*: VG
Spine: Perfectly readable text, lovely straight edge, with some heavy rub to the top / bottom edges
Seams: No splits, very straight, with rub along most of the top & bottom
Opening: Lovely and straight
Front Cover: Sticker removal residue and some damage from its removal top right corner. The colour is rubbed in some places.
Back Cover: There is quite heavy colour loss / ring wear.
Gatefold Area: Undamaged, but with the same colour loss
Sleeve: Standard rice paper inner very clean
Overall a undamaged but slightly faded and worn cover. With nice sound and a vinyl that presents very well.

VINYL GRADE DESCRIPTION GUIDE
MINT (M): A perfect record that looks like it has just left the factory, with NO flaws what so ever looking as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record appears virtually flawless at first glance and has a great luster. It should only have very minor scuffs or marks on the surface of the vinyl, which are only visible under strong light. It should play without any noise particularly over the flaw.
EXCELLENT (EX): A record with only minor scuffs, which are only slightly visible. There may be more than a few scuffs or marks. It should play without any noise over the flaw.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record shows wear which could include surface scuffs and marks, blotches or stains. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye. The flaws may cause some surface noise.
A plus (+) or (-) following the condition indicate variations of the condition i.e. VG+ is in slightly better condition than VG but not excellent.
SLEEVE & INSERTS GRADE DESCRIPTION GUIDE
MINT (M): The cover is free of any stickers, address labels, writing or labels. There are no tears or seam splits or wear / fading to the cover. The age of the record has not affected the condition. The cover, sleeve and any inserts (posters, stickers, lyric sheets) look brand new.
NEAR MINT (NM): The cover looks as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age.
EXCELLENT (EX): The artwork is still as close to perfect as can be. There may be some impressions to the cover (minor outer ring wear) but no dis-colouration. It may have some slight creases to the corners, but no major wrinkling, holes or other damage.
VERY GOOD (VG): The artwork looks clean but with slightly more wear. This could include some fading due to minor sun damage, but there will be know no stains or mildew from water damage. Some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through.

Packaged well using high quality card mailers. Each disc is placed in a plain sleeve to avoid seam splits during transit. The cover is placed in a 450g clear sleeve, with card stiffeners placed either side to protect the package.
