Description

Still SEALED 1986 reissue of macabrevmusician Screamin' Jay Hawkins' best-of compilation 'Frenzy'. Early pioneer of shock rock. Hawkins had wanted to be an opera singer and his musical idol was Paul Robeson. When he recorded "I Put A Spell in You" he was five sheets to the wind and his band was just as drunk. Hawkins moved to France and at the age of 70 died there on February 12, 2000.
Record is presumably in mint condition, as it is SEALED and has never been opened. See photos, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
