Description

ARTIST: The Allman Brothers
LABEL: Polydor 839 417-1 (1989)
TITLE: Dreams
CONDITION:
Box: Mint! Still sealed in clean original shrink wrap which is split a little at 3 corners and on the back where the shrink comes together. Has very tiny spots of wear on the corners where the shrink is split and one tiny ding on the spine.
Record: Still sealed & unplayed
COMMENTS: Sealed original copy of this six LP box set that includes 55 remastered songs and over 5 hours of music with over 2 hours of previously unreleased music. Includes a full size 36-page booklet. This is probably the definitive Allman Brothers compilation. This 6-LP box set was released on Polygram in 1989 and contains arguably the best sounding versions of these songs ever. The original master tapes were used for the compilation remastering and the sound is better than on my first pressings and later remasters that suffer from obvious degradation of the masters over the ensuing years of storage. This set includes classics spanning the band's golden years.
