DESCRIPTION:The Sensational Alex Harvey Band- Framed. 1ST UK press with small swirl label, 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, die cut gatefold sleeve and swirl inner dated 1/71. Postage cost includes insurance and top quality packaging. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Vertigo 6360 081. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): G/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen, some hairlines and a small concentrated area of scuffing to side B.. Played all of this a few times in last fortnight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds around VG generally . Plays through without jumps, skips, sticks. Music is prominent and loud throughout. The first 2 tracks of side A have some repetitive ticks. it sounds pretty good after that and its a great LP. Side B also has some repetitive ticks but again plays through fine and its still a decent listen. Original sleeve retains decent shape and just about scrapes into a VG. It is firm and square and has moderate edge wear, moderate corner wear (one heavy) and moderate creasing. Inside of gate fold is pretty clean. It has a small sticker removal mark on the front sleeve next to the Vertigo logo and a small plain white sticker to the rear that will not come off without tearing the print. Very clean labels- check out the photos. Swirl inner bag has seen better days. Poly has become detached and one side has writing on. Other side is clean but has a 1" tear around centre-hole. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
