Description

""GEORGE PECKHAM" mastered very 1st press.<<<<
The original 1/1 copies by Peckham are hard to find. MOST copies will be Bilbo copies.
An original 1974 UK 1st press on the Vertigo label. Matrix 1/1. Etching 'Porky/Marty Pecko'. The vinyl comes housed in an original laminated gatefold cover. Also included is the original 'plastic bag warning' sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with two deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A truly wonderful pressing and I doubt you'd be able to improve much on the preservation levels here. Clean powerful audio all the way through. Very little sign of background at all. I did detect one tick in 'Long Hair Music' and another one early in 'Legs'. Highly recommended!
Cover (Ex) Beautifully preserved and looking very fine indeed.  A perfectly flat cover. Lovely clean front and rear with barely a crease. A lovely clean interior without the ageing you will often find on this title - very impressive. Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. The spine is in excellent order with all text legible - just some ageing. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Nice!
Inner (Vg+) A bit of ageing. No splits.
