Maria Meneghini Callas, Mirto Picchi, Renata Scotto, Guiseppe Modesti, Miriam Pirazzini, Lidia Marimpietri, Elvira Galassi, Alfredo Giacommotti with Chorus and Orchestra of La Scala directed by Tullio Serafin - MERCURY SR3 9000 - “Cherubini: Medea”. The records are in excellent to near mint condition except for a parallel pair of long, light scratches on one side, not really audible except for some light to medium pops for a ¼ inch or so. The hinged-lid box is excellent except for a bit of corner wear. Comes with a booklet. A 3-LP boxed set.
My current sale will hopefully contain 200+ albums if all goes well. It will again consist largely of classical albums. Will include some world music LP’s & miscellaneous albums as well, if time allows. Many great albums, including some real rarities. As mentioned last time, this month’s sale will again include a fair number of guitar albums. I will try to get everything listed by the end of this week (November 26). My grading often goes beyond the letter grades, as I personally find them somewhat inadequate, so when I feel it would be helpful I include more detail. I am trying to list a selection during the last week or so of most months.
