Description

Original blue-green label. This is part of the "Kenton Presents" series. Leader, Serge Chaloff, baritone sax; Boots Mussulli, alto sax; Herb Pomeroy, trumpet; Ray Santici, piano; Everett Evans, bass; Jimmy Zitano, drums. Recorded in NYC in 1955. 10 tracks.

Cover:  Good(+)  1" split on the top edge at the insert edge. Tear mark on the front cover near the top edge. Minor wear and aging. White spot towards the center of the pictured jacket is from the camera flash.

Record:  VG++ to Mint(-)  Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface Possibly played only a very few times with care. Side 1, Track 1, 3 or 4 very light clicks towards the end of the Track. Track 2, 1 click and 2 faint clicks at the end of the Track. Track 4, 2 or 3 faint clicks at the beginning of the Track. Side 2, Track 2, slight groove noise on the first 2 or 3 revolutions, very faint. Also, 3 or 4 faint clicks at the beginning of the Track. Slight groove noise and several light clicks towards the end of the Track. Track 3, slight groove noise for 1 revolution mid Track. Fine overall condition. Audibly checked.
