Description
Serge Chaloff Plays The Fable Of Mabel Storyville Lp 317 10 inch Lp original label
The Fable Of Mabel, Sherry, Slam, A Salute To Tiny, Eenie Meenie Minor Mode, Let's Jump
Serge Chaloff (baritone sax) with sidemen including: Charlie Mariano (alto sax), Dick Twardzik (piano), Herb Pomeroy (trumpet) etc
The record looks and plays VG++ with slight surface noise. Music plays strong without distortion. The record is bright and glossy and without spindle marks or scratches. The grooves do not show heavy wear or graying. The record might have been played a few times and was well taken care of. The label is deep groove both sides.
The cover is VG++. No split seams. There is light to moderate overall wear. Bottom seam at pocket has moderate wear and slight denting. Front cover has a price sticker on front top right. Still glossy and a nice cover.
I grade visually using the Goldmine grading code whixch is M, M-, VG++ (or EX), VG+, VG, G, F, P. The highest grade I use is M- and I rarely use it for 50s and 60s Lps. I spot play any potential problem areas and try to grade conservatively. You will be satisfied and no hassles.
