Sesame Street "Born To Add" album, released in 1983 on CTW Sesame Street Records, is a collection of rock and roll songs from well-known Sesame Street characters such as Bert, Count von Count, and Cookie Monster as well as some one-shot Sesame Street characters. The songs are clever parodies of such classic rock songs as Born To Run (Born To Add by Bruce Springbean and the S. Street Band), Let It Be (Letter B by The Sesame Street Beetles), Rock Around The Clock (Honk Around A Clock by The Honkers), Satisfaction (I Can't Get No Co-Operation by Mick Swagger & The Sesame Street Cobble Stones), and Hey Jude (Hey Food by Cookie Monster and The Sesame Street Beetles). The album cover is a take-off on Bruce Springsteen's classic Born To Run album cover, with Bert holding a guitar and leaning against Cookie Monster with a saxophone. This album is in near mint condition, both the jacket and record.
