Description
Two High Quality Sex Pistols Reproduction 7 Inch Singles in Record Company Sleeves. I will include two protective polythene sleeves too. 1. Anarchy In The UK Rare EMI 1976 Repro (Heavy Vinyl). There are no marks on the vinyl which is in Excellent as new condition.
It is of course not a genuine original. The original has a serrated run out groove. The first 5000 copies came in a plain black sleeve and mis-credits Chris Thomas as the producer of "I wanna Be Me." The B side of this copy has the correct Dave Goodman production credit and comes in an original company sleeve.
It has the following etched on the run out grooves : Matrix / Runout (Side A label): EM 2566 A-2, It is also etched "lml" and on (Side B label): EM2566 B-1. No Misspellings on the label as with some copies available. A small piece of the label on side 2 is missing and there is a very small tear around the centre, but the A side is fine.
2. God Save the Queen. Quality A&M 1977 Repro.
The record has a slight lip at the start but it plays fine and looks like a manufacturing fault. Otherwise it is Excellent.
This is a high quality genuine reproduction of the Sex Pistols, God Save The Queen. There are quite a few of these around of varying quality but this is only distinguishable from the original by the lack of a serrated edge on the play-out groove. If it had that it would be worth in excess of £10,000.
Original unreleased 7" single housed in A&M record company paper sleeve. Genuine originals have the serrated anti-slip necklace and 7284 written twice on the B-Side runout, one above the other.
Barcode and Other Identifiers
- AMS 7284.
- Matrix / Runout (Side A label): GSTQ-A
- Matrix / Runout (Side B label): S/S Etched "NO FEELING".
