BRAND NEW & SEALED - SOLD OUT - PRESALE!*
Sex Pistols - God Save The Queen (Original A&M Records Replica On Silver Vinyl)
Originally released on A&M Records in queen Elizabeth II's silver jubillee year 1977, the backlash to the controversial Sex Pistols single "God Save The Queen" (before it had even been released), was enough to see the label ditch the band and destroy almost all copies (it is believed that only 9 copies exist).
Now, 45 years later, the queen celebrates her Platinum Jubilee year. And to commemorate this auspicious occasion, the original A&M Records release is to be reissued.
Re-creating the original artwork, the A&M version features the rare black slipcase, individually numbered, and on silver vinyl. It includes the original B-side No Feeling. Needless to say, it completely sold out in minutes.
Misprint
Due to an unfortunate error at the manufacturing plant the A&M 7” of God Save The Queen has been printed with incorrect label colours and this was only detected after all 1977 individually numbered copies had been pressed.
Rather than scrap the 1977 copies of the misprinted 7” this version is made available too for fans.
*PRESALE
This record is currently on presale, and is expected to be released on May 27th 2022. Presale items will be shipped on the same day, or next working day, after I take delivery. Release dates are tentative, and subject to change.
There are several reasons why delays occur, from raw material (vinyl) shortages, to pressing plant backlogs, to logistics issues. This is outside of my control. But I will make you aware of any delays to the release date as soon as I become aware of them.
Postage
All records come shipped in a reinforced cardboard record mailer. All shipping is at UK Royal Mail rates. Larger items, such as boxsets, may be shipped using Parcelforce (or other courier service) due to Royal Mail weight restrictions. All shipping prices include insurance for the full value of the item. Multi-purchase discounts available.
♻
I recycle and reuse all shipping materials, including labels and mailers, wherever possible. All my packaging is guaranteed plastic-free, and is manufactured from renewable sources.
