SEX PISTOLS Never Mind The Bollocks 1977 Virgin Records ORIGINAL 1st pressing V2086
This is the one every Pistols collector wants. One of the first 1000 copies in absolutely beautiful condition. This was given to me by US radio DJ who was downsizing his collection and found this gem completely untouched. He was sent this by Jem Imports back in Sept '77 and never played it. I'm guessing he used the US Warner Bros. copy to play on air. As you can see from the pictures its the version with the plain pink rear cover still with the "Jem Imports" sticker intact and perfect condition. The matrix no's are A3 and B3 which indicates the first 1000 batch Virgin UK used for export to US, France & Scandinavia and initial orders into UK retailers.
The sleeve is in fantastic condition apart from a really small crease in the top right hand corner which I have posted a pic of. The labels are perfect and obviously have never been touched with no spindle marks or anything. It also comes with the 1st inner sleeve without the release date and has no creases or tears. The spine is also perfect with no shelf wear.
This really is the best copy I've ever seen on Ebay and hardly ever becomes available.
