Description

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS RECORD HAS BEEN VACUUM CLEANED ON BOTH SIDES USING MY PROJECT PRO CLEANING MACHINE THANK YOU .
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RECORDS , CD's , CASSETTES AND DVD's ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED FROM START TO FINISH INCLUDING ALL SIDES FOR ALL DOUBLE AND TRIPLE ALBUMS AND BOX SETS THANK YOU .
ALL RECORDS ARE FULLY PLAY TESTED ON MY TRUSTY AIWA TURNTABLE AND GOOD QUALITY JVC AMP . THIS DOES ONLY HAVE A STD BASS AND TREBLE CONTROL WHICH I HAVE SET ON A HIGH " TINNY " SETTING . I LIKE TO SET IT LIKE THIS AS IT PICKS UP EVEN THE VERY SLIGHTEST BIT OF NOISE SO I KNOW I CAN DESCRIBE EVERY LP CORRECTLY ETC . I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT PLAYED ON BETTER OR TOP QUALITY SYSTEMS WITH GREATER AND MORE TECHNICAL SOUND CONTROL ETC , THESE RECORDS WILL SOUND A LOT BETTER THAN I HAVE DESCRIBED . I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I OFTEN GIVE RECORDS ANOTHER QUICK PLAY ON THE FIRST COUPLE OF TRACKS ON MY PERSONAL TOP QUALITY PIONEER SYSTEM AND I DO FIND THAT MOST OF ANY NOISES LIKE CRACKLE ETC ARE MUCH MUCH QUIETER , SOME EVEN HARDLY SOUND AT ALL . I TEST EVERY RECORD AND FIND THAT MY AIWA WILL COVER MANY OTHER SIMILAR SET UPS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE , I DID WANT TO JUST POINT THIS OUT , THANK YOU .
Please note that i do tend to use " Very Good Condition " for most of my records , although none are heavily scratched etc and most will just have some general light surface marks only . The only exception to this is if the record does have scratches and lots of marks etc but is very rare and collectable and will be described in great detail . I never use " Mint " or " Near Mint " unless the record is unopened from it's original shrink wrap and is clearly unplayed . Even with these i am wary because if the record has been stored for years in maybe a damp garage or loft etc and has not been opened , then we can only presume it should be mint because we obviously can't actually see the record . Everyone obviously has their own opinions as to what is very good and excellent , but in my case , i tend to think that most , if not all records do have marks to some degree ( lots even from new ! ) purely because they are vinyl and mark easy and have been used over a considerable amount of time in most cases . This is why i use Very Good most of the times . This is also why i do go into great detail with my descriptions , as the term " Very Good " can be a bit vague . I do use " Excellent Condition " sometimes , but in my case , i would class this as not played very much at all , excellent shine and just a handful of the very lightest and small surface hairline marks only , most only being visible under a light , so you know that when i use excellent , i really do mean excellent . Lots of my records as you can see by my feedback are better than described , more better than very good and closer to near ( if not ) excellent and i do pride myself on this fact , this is why i do use mainly " Very Good " but with very detailed descriptions also of which i will say i can go a little OTT with noise and general condition and can often make a record sound bad when it really isn't , i do just try my best to say how it is , but as i say please do check my feedback and you will see you can bid with confidence , thank you .

Sex Pistols Never Mind The Bollocks LP UK Picture Disc Pro Cleaned See Details . On UK Virgin VP2086 .
COVER: Non laminated card cover in good overall condition , would have been better but for some fading in places on and just near to the edges and browning / foxing on the opening edges and on the inside of the cover .
FRONT: A very few usual but mostly small and light surface crease crack lines in places round the outer edges and just a couple of slightly larger ones in places . A few mostly light and small general surface / age related / handling marks in places , mostly just a few light similar to light fingernail line mark lines in places and there is what appears to be a small removed sticker mark near the top left corner , the main issue is there is some discolouration down the right hand side opening edge , this is similar to browning , it isn't too overly dark at all as you can hopefully see but obviously it is clearly visible and down the entire edge . There are hardly any obvious signs of any ringwear marks with just a very very light impression of the outer edge of the record in two or three places , but this really is very light only . The cut out inner circle has no tears etc and the front is writing free
TOP / BOTTOM MAIN EDGES: ( Not Including Corners And Right Next To Corners Please See Corner Description ) . TOP EDGE: Just a very little bit of very very light rub wear in two or three places and a bit of fading in places . BOTTOM EDGE: The same and two or three tiny dent spots in places .
MAIN SPINE EDGE: ( Not Including Corners And Right Next To Corners Please See Corner Description ) . Still in very nice shape with just a few very light bits of dent wear in places mainly towards the top and bottom , but this is light only , there is also some fading present . All text is legible and still bold and bright .
OPENING EDGES: Some usual but very very light bits of mostly dent / useage wear on the outer edges on the front and rear , anything really just consistent with age and general use , but very light only . The main issue is that there is some quite heavy browning present mostly on and near to the opening edges on the inside of the cover which i have tried to show in the photos , the rest of the inside is just some odd light and small browning spots in places and some light general age related fading / foxing etc .
CORNERS: Some usual but mostly very light and very small bits of rub / dent wear on the corners , virtually all being confined to the very tip ends only and mostly on the left hand corners and this mainly being down to the tiny pierced holes which are often seen and is from how the cover was put together and not due to any neglect etc . There are , being a bit picky a few tiny creases very tight onto the corners , but these really are very small indeed , again anything really just consistent with age and use etc .
REAR: A very few mostly very light and very small general age / surface marks in places and some general age related fading in places , the fading being mainly on the right hand side edge and in places on the top edge , again the main issue is that there is some of the same discolouration down the left hand side opening edge as seen on the front , but this on the rear really is a lot lighter and closer to the actual edge . Again there are hardly any obvious signs of the usual ringwear marks , the rear again is writing free .
INNER STIFFENING / PROTECTION PLAIN CARD: There is a plain square card stiffener / protection insert with this which i assume is the original as i know they did use to come with one of these , it is in good condition , there are some very light and small browning spot marks in places mainly on and just near to the one edge on both sides , there are some small dark spot marks present , but i'm pretty sure these have been there from the start and are not actual marks etc .
INNER SLEEVE: Plain polythene inner sleeve in good overall condition though there is quite a bit of age related creasing ( more near the corners ) and some light rippling present as is nearly always seen on these polythene inners . Some light normal useage wear on the top opening edges . I am pretty sure that this is the original inner sleeve , but can't 100% confirm this , but it was with the record when i got it and i know the record was originally supplied with one . I will be removing the record from this inner and putting it into a plain non die cut white paper inner sleeve just to mainly protect from any seam splits on the polythene etc .
LABELS: N/A .
RECORD: The overall visual grade under normal average household light conditions is still very good condition ( near excellent audio ) would have been a little better visually but for a quite large scuff mark and a couple of smaller ones mainly on T3 S1 ( the end of the larger one going a little onto the end of T2 and the one smaller one being mainly at the end of T2 ) , i have tried to show these in the last two photos , please note that the shadow mark below and slightly to the right of the actual marks ( next to the light glare near to the outer edge of the record ) is just a reflection of my fingers from when i was taking the photos and not a mark on the record , bar these , there are just some usual but very fine hairlines on S2 and two or three light only surface marks , one larger but very fine hairline surface mark and some usual very fine hairlines on S1 , quite a few of the finer hairlines i will say are only more visible when held at certain angles to or under a light , there are some usual spindle marks present . I must stress that none of the marks are feelable and they do not affect the play or sound quality or give off any nasty ticks etc , the larger scuff marks do also just look worse than they actually are .
Please do bear in mind that this is a picture disc and the sound quality on these is not as good as you get with standard vinyls and there will also normally be a certain amount of arm lift , though this one is very good and not warped .
AUDIO A SIDE: It plays perfectly crisp and clear throughout on the music playback with really very little noise worthy of mention , anything really was just a light bit of noise on the intro only T1 S1 and a couple of light only ticks just after the start on T4 , anything else ( really very very little indeed and as i say barely heard and hardly worth a mention ) was ultra occasional mega light isolated odd bits of background only noise and maybe three or four odd isolated extremely light pops in places on some of the quieter parts , any of these really very very few odd super light isolated bits of noise are each over very quickly indeed , are certainly not totally constant throughout the record and do not spoil any enjoyment whatsoever being very light only , there was no nasty prolonged crackle and bar the couple of light ones , there were no nasty loud ticks . There are obviously some usual and often louder noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and silent track changeover lines , though i must say that even these were quite quiet indeed overall for a picture disc . This record on the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a good overall shine . There really is hardly anything to report on this side on the music , any of the very odd bits of noise on the music were ultra light background only and mega occasional as i say and any being over super quick .
AUDIO B SIDE: It plays perfectly crisp and clear throughout on the music playback again with very little noise worthy of mention , anything really was just a few very light pops literally as the music fades at the end of T1 and onto the silent changeover line , a very very few odd isolated very very light pops in places and two or three slightly louder ticks ( certainly not excessively loud at all ) on T3 and a bit of light noise on the intro only on T4 . Again anything else ( really very very little indeed and any barely heard and hardly worth a mention ) really was just a tiny bit of ultra occasional mega light odd isolated bits of background only noise and ultra occasional super light odd isolated pop on some of the quieter parts , any of these really very very few odd super light isolated bits of noise are each over very quickly indeed , are certainly not totally constant throughout the record and do not spoil any enjoyment whatsoever being very light only , there was no nasty prolonged crackle at all . There are obviously some usual and often louder noises heard on the silent run ins/offs and silent track changeover lines , though i must say that even these were quite quiet overall for a picture disc . This record on the music really does play and sound great overall and the audio tones are still awesome . There were no jumps etc when tested on my deck and it still retains a good overall shine . There really is again very little to report on this side on the music , any of the other very odd bits of noise on the music were ultra light background only and mega occasional as i say and any being over super quick . I really was quite surprised at how good this one played and sounded for a picture disc ! as the sound quality on these really isn't that good normally , but this one must be up there with the better sounding examples . All in all a good example of this now very collectable item together with great overall sound , do turn this one up and enjoy ! . Thank you very much for your time and interest and happy bidding . Please do read the following ref record gradings explained thank you .
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times , but displays no major deterioration in sound quality , despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch or scuff . Please see the descriptions above for the cover condition .
Please note that whilst I haven’t increased my postage charges for quite a while now , this now other recent price increase , has seen me unfortunately have to put a slight increase on my postage charges . This is also topped with the rise in cost for quality card mailers , jiffy bags , stiffeners , other packaging materials etc , Ebays 10% extra fee for seller postage costs plus their other fees and Paypal now charging 20p per item sold on Ebay plus their other fees . Please also note that I now send ALL non GF LP’s / 12" singles with a minimum of 3 stiffeners and all 7" singles with a minimum of 2 stiffeners ( more if i think they are needed ) , i never and don't agree with making money from postage and with all the added fees / extra stiffeners etc , most of my records including LP's sell for between £2 and £6 so all of this whilst not sounding a lot , does soon mount up and i actually do lose money on posting records , but I do obviously want to still remain competitive and still offer my usual top quality service , sorry again for this , thank you .
