Sex Pistols “Never Mind The Bollocks” : collectable UK vinyl + POSTER!!

This is a very good copy of the 1977 Stereo UK issue, catalogue number V 2086, on the blue & white Virgin label, complete with 100 cm x 65 cm wall poster in Excellent condition.

Matrix numbers on the inner run-off grooves are “V-2086-A3” on side one, and “V-2086-B1” on side two.

Stamper numbers on side one inner run-off are “B” below an inverted “F” at the left/9 o'clock position & “OS” at six o’clock position; and on side two "J” at the right/3 o'clock position.

I use the 'Record Collector' grading system when listing vinyl, and adhere strictly to this criterion. This title falls within the accepted definition of a Very Good item. [Very Good = "The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable"].

The vinyl displays some evidence of stylus skip marks and inner bag scuff marks.

The labels are undamaged and original print colours remain bright. There is very little evidence of spindle-wear.

The disc lies flat and unwarped on the turntable.

Audio reproduction has not been fully tested (i.e. the whole LP has not been played) but random partial track testing reveals a great sound quality; a full frequency audio experience, with no play-wear distortion evident on the vocals or instruments.

The lead-in banding and between track bandings are very quiet & indicate that there is very little surface noise present on the album.

The poster is cleanly creased along the fold lines, shows no signs of blue-tack or sellotape wall hanging marks, and has only one or two small corner folds and edge splits. A great piece of SP memorabilia!

The album cover is a matt non-flipback, with yellow-coloured front and pink reverse with track listing. The edges of the sleeve show shelf wear, particularly along the spine and top edge.

Buyer pays for all postage & packaging costs, any insurance costs above standard rates, and any subsequent custom costs.

Items paid for by PayPal usually ship within two working days of transfer of funds.

Items paid for by UK Cheque are shipped after clearance of funds. (Please note that if you wish to pay by UK Cheque you will need to e-mail me via eBay at the successful conclusion of the auction for my address and cheque payee details).

Single LP's for UK delivery will be sent by First Class Recorded Delivery, in a quality mailer + stiffener inserts, for £3-50. Please add this amount to your winning bid when submitting payment.

Two single LP's (or a double album) in the same mailer for UK delivery by First Class Recorded Delivery will cost a total of £4-00.

UK first class mail carries the standard Royal Mail compensation of up to £30; if the buyer requires a higher level of insurance this will need to be notified to me at the conclusion of the auction, and the buyer will be responsible for the additional cost. UK Special Delivery with enhanced compensation will cost a total of £5-50 for a single album, and £6-50 for a double album. (In the absence of any buyer notification I will assume standard mailing rates are agreed and I will accept no further liability for loss or damage after mailing).

Shipping overseas is normally by Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets, with standard compensation (up to £30 value).

Single LP's p&p to Europe cost a total of £4-50. Double LP's or two LP's in the same mailer will cost a total of £6-50.

Single LP's p&p to the USA or Japan will cost a total of £7-00. Double LP's or two LP's in the same mailer will cost a total of £9-00.

The postage & packing for further multiple packaging, or for individual items to other destinations will be costed for the buyer and destination and advised on the final invoice.

Should the buyer wish to increase the compensation amount this will need to be agreed before dispatch and cost paid by the buyer at the conclusion of the auction.

Audio Notes

Where vinyl sound quality is rated in the item description you may wish to note that the record has been checked on a Pro-Ject Debut III turntable, fitted with an Ortofon OMB5E cartridge, played through a Marantz SR4300 amplifier and Eltax Liberty 5+ speakers.
