Sex Pistols - Submission VDJ24 - probable Virgin Counter Sold Copy.
Had never seen one of these so did some digging...
This seems to be one of the copies that was sold over the counter in some Virgin Stores, 77/78.
There was no specific limit to the number of copies for the early batch of 11 track Never Mind the Bollocks so 'extra' copies were sold over the counter - usually in the Jubilee year type genetic sleeve (the white band across the sleeve was to write any particular artist's name or record).
The non Virgin label has been stamped with 'Laughing Stock, Side 1, 45rpm' - as we all know this side is blank. Cash from Chaos right enough...

Condition:
Submission plays EX.
Virgin label is VG+ minor mottling.
Laughing Stock label is VG, has a tear where I presume there has been a sticker of some sort.
Virgin generic sleeve is G+, the start of a seam split at 12 o'clock but otherwise intact.
