Description
If you're reading this, then you know exactly what this record is. This is the version of Blue Christmas that sounds like it's Porky Pig, with hysterical laughing in the background, which gets played on radio stations across the nation every holiday season.
However, every copy of the song you hear on the radio is missing a made up "session talk" intro ("Blue Christmas, take 1"), and the song also runs slower on this 45 than on the version radio plays.
To complicate things further, the people involved in the making of this record (John-Boy and Billy from WRFX in Charlotte, NC, however it is alleged that Denny Brownlee was also involved in this record) made a later re-recording of the song which is the version of the song found on cd while this original version has never had a legitimate reissue beyond this 45, making it all the more collectable.
This 45 looks fairly clean, it may not have ever been played but it does have some sleeve scuffs that are visible under my 60 watt lightbulb so i'll knock down the grade for that. The labels have no wear, writing, stickers, etc.
