Description
The Beatls Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
PMC 7027 Mono 1st Pressing Matrix XEX 637 1 /638 1
First Lacquer; [number 1 at 6 o'clock] FirstMother [number 1 at 9 o'clock]; letters MRT at three o' clock denote Stamper number 429
Wide spine gatefold; Cardboard cut-out insert; sadly only a white inner sleeve.
Side one plays Very Good; sadly side 2 only plays Good-very good. There are surface marks and low level scritches but no loud clicks and no jumps on side 2 and there is some distortion on'A Day in the Life'. A superior cleaning system may well improve sound quality even further.
The cover and insert are both in excellent condition with only slight marking on the bottom right hand corner.
I have adhered to Record Collector grading as best I can here.
Even in this not by any means perfect example of the record, it is eminently collectable.
