Sgt Pepper - The Beatles
PMC 7027 Mono
Matrix no. side 1 : XEX 637 - 1 Stampers 4 A T D
Matrix no. side 2 : XEX 638 - 1 Stampers 4 A P H
1967 yellow and black Parlophone label (PMC7027) with "Sold In U.K." label text and "Made In Gt. Britain"
Gatefold sleeve printed by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd.
The spine has been squashed a bit over the years but measuring from the original crease lines this look like its the 8mm spine version, plese check the last photo to satisfy yourself.
Original card insert has no creases or damage.
White paper sleeve has no pen marks, it has worn through on the side edges through rubbing, only a little.
The cover shows a little wear around the edges, it is still glued in the right places and not coming apart. The spine is readable but there is a tiny surface tear on the "e" and "a" of hearts, the piece is still there, see photos. It has "thumb" creases on the open edges and some small creasing around the egdes.
Visually the vinyl has some light scratches when turned in the light, there are not loads.
I have play tested this and there are no jumps. I noticed one "pop" which is on the "run on" on of side two before the music starts, it is not a loud pop. On the whole there is very little "crackle" and what there is is quiet and doesn't ruin the songs, most songs you don't hear any. The most noticable was on "its getting better" and "shes leaving home" but it is not loud and does not ruin the listening. The playback throughout is not distorted.
This album will be packed safely and boxed for postage, the vinyl and insert will be packed seperate outside of the cover to protect from damage in transit.
I am not a record collector but do consider myself attentive to detail and have sold many records on e bay in the past to satisfied customers. For reassurance, if for any reason you do not feel happy with this upon reciept I will issue a full refund including postage when returned.
