Brief description of item
Hey, here we have a rare album by the Beatles - Sgt. Pepper in STEREO & a first press, with YEX 637-1/YEX 638 -1...Matching matrix. Stampers are the real early G type. ONE BOX EMI. This is rarer than rare to find with all of these attributes...Never mind with the added pleasure of a rare Apple add inner. The add inner is pictured here in my photos. Also comes with an unused or unpinned/unstuck pepper card insert. My grade for the cover (because it has a little wear & obvious issues) is VG. Has also got (to me) what appears a wider spine? this is still intact & without splitting. Has expected minimal wear. Usually the spine is the worst...Not the case here. Labels are as you can see in EX condition with a few slight spindle marks under bright light or at a certain tilted angle. But not over used or heavily marked. The actual inners are perfect & as new. The actual record itself is the gem. A real nice copy that I will under grade at EXCELLENT. Superb clean & with only some possible light cover hairlines...That don't affect the audio. I have checked it out as usual under extreme bright white light. I take the time to do this every time before listing ANY record I offer.
These years recordings because of the matrix/year pressed & stamper codes are very rare & also please note : come from the original (the same as the black'yellow) parlophone masters from the tube-cut master mixes & recordings. Therefore are booming with that original production. All very nice and loud!!!! later issues never lived up to these. This copy plays without any pop, tick or skip back, definitely no jumps or warping to the disc which sits proudly flat on 100% on any surface. All that left to say....Please see the close up view provided item is EXACTLY AS APPEARS....See for yourself in the large photos below. Also importantly I pack well...See method used in 'payment & shipping' Cheers. Don't miss this one...I sell a lot & you won't get a more honest listing easily...So get on this one.
All vinyl comes from a smoke, damp and pet free environment

>> Grading of Items All items are graded conservatively according to Record Collectors Grading System Record Collectors Grading system
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displayes no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has notceably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
Fair (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing Bad (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
CD's and CASSETTES As a general rule CD's and Cassettes either play perfectly - inwhich case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CD's are difficult to grade visually; they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaces if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves
