This is a US vinyl pressing on WB 3265 from 1979.     This is a test pressing.   It comes in a plain white cover with a hole in the center to see the labels and a loose 8 X 11 info sheet.   The labels are white and say : 'Available only to technical and other authorized personnel for the limited purpose of testing and review'.  

This is a live album with 13 songs.     It has 6 songs that are not on the regular release.   The unique songs are Taxi Dancer, Midnight Sun, Hold Tight, For The Song, Walk Away, and Twist & Shout.     It also is missing 3 songs that were on the regular release.    The missing songs are Break For The Street, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin', and Bad Boy.    The Crystals sing background on 'Da Doo Ron Ron'.  

The matrix numbers are : Side one : HS-1-3265-RE1-LW1  and Side two : HS-2-3265-RE1-LW1  .

The songs on this test pressing are :  That's Rock 'N Roll, Taxi Dancer, Midnight Sun, Hey Deanie, Hold Tight, For The Song, Slow Down, Hard Love, Rip It Up. Walk Away, She's Right, Da Doo Ron Ron, and Twist & Shout.

Why are test pressing so rare ??      A test pressing is the very first pressing of a record.    It's made so that the artist, producer, engineer, and record company executives can approve the record.    They are pressed in extremely limited numbers ( like 50 to 100 ) and are never repressed.    They are sent out to selected people before the cover and labels have been printed.

The cover is Mint.   There are no seam splits and there is no ring wear.    There is no writing on the cover.     The info sheet is in nice condition.     The vinyl looks mint and it plays mint.     The labels are blank.  

I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch thick cardboard.    ( It's so thick that you will save it and use again. )    It will weigh 21 ounces ( 1 pound, 5 ounces ) when ready to ship.    You can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    It will be sent by First Class Mail International to overseas buyers.   ( Buyers from Italy will assume all risks for shipping to their country)   I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day of before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM )      I will combine postage if you win more than one record.     This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
