Description

About 10 years ago I bought the contents of a classical shop stock room, and kept a lot of rarities for myself. I have too many records nowadays so I am offering the rarer ones that I did not get around to listening to or had 2 copies of. These are mainly unplayed, sometimes just tested for a few seconds to check, all unmarked, no spindles to labels, sleeves clean, any marks noted.

1st pressing of SHLOMO MINTZ,  GERMAN DG DIGITAL STEREO VINYL IN BOX 413 810-1. On a number of occasions when I have spoken to violinists, I have enquired which set of the these works they prefer, and a surprising number over the years have claimed this is their favourite. It could be the silveriness of his tone, or the lilt of the dance in the dance named movements, or just that it is such a transparent reading, less soloist, more Bach.

BACH'S PARTITAS & SONATAS FOR VIOLIN SOLO BWV 1001-BWV 1006.
This record set is visually Near Mint, in a Near Mint box, records are not warped, labels are clean.

When we post this to you, it will be housed in a new hard card custom made new box.
