Description
This is one of a 5000 limited edition blue 10" vinyl compilation of original northern punk at its best and at its greatest ever venue.
Includes Joy Division, Buzzcocks, The Fall and John Cooper Clarke
Sleeve is is a good but used condition - a little scuffed around edges. Inner sleeve is good but adhesive has lost effect over time on one sied and vinyl looks pretty good to me.

Short Circuit: Live at the Electric Circus is a compilation album of songs recorded live at the Electric Circus, Manchester, on the 1st and 2nd of October, 1977, two concerts marking the last nights of the venue before it closed. Released by Virgin Records in 1978, the album was originally only available on 10-inch blue, black, and yellow vinyl.[2][3]
Joy Division performed under their original name Warsaw on the second night, but the track was credited to Joy Division on the sleeve as they had changed their name in January 1978. [4
The original release on Virgin consisted of 5000 copies on blue vinyl (with a sticker on the cover announcing the fact), the rest on black vinyl. All of these had a printed inner sleeve and blue labels. Catalogue number VCL 5003

Released on 10 blue vinyl in 1978, Short Circuit features performances by The Fall, John Cooper Clarke, Joy Division, The Drones, Steel Pulse & Buzzcocks - all recorded during the last nights of the legendary Manchester venue’s life.
Steel Pulse provide the smoking tips in the guise of Makka Splaff, a request to the collie man to provide ample herb for the night. JCC chips in with I Married A Monster from Outer Space & (You Never See A Nipple In The) Daily Express - unaccompanied. The Fall drop Last Orders & Stepping Out in furious fashion. The Drones are The Drones, Joy Division are punked up & Buzzcocks tear through Times Up like it’s their finest hour. http://www.trakmarx.com/2004_01/13_comp.htm
