. Original UK LP Issued in 1959 by Decca Records (SXL 2077). Stereophic blue lettered rear to this curved cut flip back earliest type sleeve, with notes written by Neville Marriner. January 1959 printers dating to the corner of the sleeve, so a genuine first year issue. This has a pristine ffss original inner to it.
Wide Band Labels With Inner Groove. "Original Recording by" ... Text on Labels, ED 1. Ricci gives the performance of his life to this, one of the most exciting of all violin concertos.
Some small fine marks to the vinyl under a bright light, none of which are feelable. No 50's album plays totally silent, but this is still around the excellent mark for playback, as long as you do not have a ridiculously unmusical sterile cart (more fool you for letting it decide what you play!). There are no splits, creases, pen or dirt to the sleeve, and the labels are also clean, the record is flat. The playgrade is Excellent using a high quality moving coil cartridge through a high end stereo system - heard all of the first side and tested areas of the second.
When we post this to you, it will be housed in a new poly outer - we also pack in hard card custom made new boxes.
