Sibelius Violin Concerto Ginette Neveu UK HMV ALP 1479
Ginette Neveu with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Walter Susskind performs the Sibelius Violin Concerto, and with Brother Jean Neveu, "Four Pieces" by Suk. An English mono pressing on the English HMV Label (ALP 1479), the labels are red with gold lettering, a large semi circle dog logo, Made in Great Britain, and a groove. The record has a small scratch at the start of side one that clicks for about 30 revolutions is of otherwise excellent appearance, and plays and sounds superb with low-level surface noise. The cover is excellent. Payment by credit card or Paypal is preferred – direct debit available for Australian buyers.
