Description

FOR AUCTION IS "The Complete Blue Note Recordings of Sidney Bechet " Mosaic box set #0864 -- 6 lps, and booklet,  are in Mint condition and and the box is in Mint - condition as there is some very slight wear around were the photo is attached to the front of the box so it lacks that pure mint look but there are NO other defects, NO tears, NO wrting, NO dents, and NO split seams. Once again however, I ask for my viewers input as to my abilities to post accurate photos. I think I am getting better at it, but then I get this funny angle that I can not seem to get right.  Please give me input if you have any suggestions and if you need more photos ask and I will try to e-mail you what you are looking to find.   If any  damage or wear exists  on any portion of the box sets I am listing, I will provide an accurate description, sometimes a few words are stronger than the photo. This is were the playing of Johnny Hodges and then Ben Webster began, and as most of you well know the legend of the Soprano Saxophone is Sidney Bechet is there inspiration.  Personally I recommend this set to anyone who needs to understand the roots and the fun of were Jazz music began and this comes from someone who passes on 100's of cds today whenever I see someone other than a very select few, listed as playing the Soprano Saxophone on the session.

Hello again, I am finally returned to eBay after several years hiatus.  I don't know if any of the observers to this posting remember me but I have been a collector of Jazz music for over 28 years now.  When I sold my extra copies on eBay previously  I used to get more money for my records than anyone, because all of my sales came with a 100% guarantee on the accuracy of my grading and description, which meant that I never argued about the return of any records that I sold if they were found not be described accurately.   I also had a reputation of not selling anything less than an occasional  EX - grade  and almost all of my records are Mint or Mint -.

Now I am posting some of my Mosaic duplicates because I just purchased a large collection and I have to make room on my shelves.  All of the sets that I will be posting are either Mint or sealed cds, and unless otherwise stated the boxes,  jewel cases, inserts and booklet are mint as well.  If the cds are still sealed I will let you know in this description , and if   there is any damage or wear of any kind I will also give you a complete and accurate description. Just to be clear when I say the booklet inside is mint, I mean that it is as white as when it was brand new, and even has the same stiffness and feel of paper that has never been handled.  Of course it goes without saying all of these sets have been stored properly in a smoke free environment that is  not near any heat source or any dampness.  If you want to find anything wrong with these sets, you will have to get out your microscopes or send them to the forensic labs, but then they are in other hands so I would not  suggest it.

I don't think I have to get to involved describing  Mosaics reputation for making excellent reproductions on the sound quality.  You are getting what you pay for as well as the always extra material which is previously unissued as well as the always fantastic photos, and background information for each recording session.  These sets are among the most desirable and sought after sources of this music so win each one and enjoy it for many years.

On a final note I am now adding a  surcharge of $3.00  for shipping and handling to cover the actual shipping charges + materials and not for handling or my time. I will notify each winner separately as to the final shipping  cost, ***PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE BEFORE YOU SEND PAYMENT*** as I do not know all of the detials as to how you want your winnings sent and their is always at least 3 options.  I am not certain why eBay now makes me list a shipping charge so please disregard the cost you see and I will e-mail you the final price.  I have begun to figure out how calculate out the weight  in advance and I should be pretty close to correct now in the posting the  aproximate costs,  however to repeat if I am high  or you send me too much money I will refund you any amount you may have over paid before your winnings are shipped, as several of you have already noticed.  I will include delivery confirmation, it is worth the extra 70 cents believe me.  I have shipped records: 12", 10", 45's, and 78's all over the world so I know how to package your gems so they arrive in the same condition they left my shelf which understandably a major issue with us collectors. To win something and have it arrived destroyed because of poor packaging in painful. Unfortunately I will have to add California sales tax if I am shipping your winnings to an address in California.  If you have any questions feel free to  please either e-mail me or skype me, if I am home I will answer any and all questions as long as I have the time before my auctions close. Basically I am a collector like you and I try to treat you as I want to be treated myself.  GOOD LUCK TO ALL,  I HOPE TO MAKE US BOTH VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!
