Description
Original 10" LP issue with 767 Lexington Ave. NYC address on both labels, deep groove. Both sides of the LP have the "ear" inscribed in the dead wax. The record includes: 2 tracks with Bechet, clarinet, Sidney DeParis, trumpet; Vic Dickenson, trombone; Art Hodes, piano; Pops Foster, bass; Manzie Johnson, drums. 2 tracks with Bechet, clarinet, soprano sax; Frank Newton, trumpet; J.C.Higginbotham, trombone; Meade Lux Lewis, piano; Teddy Bunn, guitar; John Williams, bass; Sid Catlett, drums. 2 tracks with Bechet, clarinet, soprano sax; Max Kaminsky, trumpet; George Lugg, trombone; Hodes, Piano; Foster, bass; Fred Moore, drums.
Cover: VG+ Intact and clean. Slight fading along the edges of the front cover with a few, small scuff marks near the edges.
Record: VG++ Played several times with 4 or 5 light,short, surface rub marks on each side. I small imperfection spot on the vinyl. . This does not affect the sound or tracking. Side 1, Track1, 2 clicks near the beginning of the Track and slight groove noise, barely audible, for 2 or 3 revolutions. Track 2, 2 or 3 light clicks in 2 places, barely audible and 2 faint clicks close to the end of the Track. Track 3, 3 or 4 light clicks at the beginning of the Track followed by 4 or 5 additional light clicks, 1 click during the piano solo followed by several clicks during the trumpet solo and 3 light clicks during the clarinet solo. Side 2, Track 1, 3 or 4 isolated, light, clicks. Track 2 is similar with 1 or 2 slightly more audible clicks and faint groove noise during the piano solo. Track 3 has 2 or 3 faint clicks, barely audible, and faint groove noise on 2 or 3 revolutions, also, barely audible, in 2 places. 1 click at the end of the Track. Please note that most of the noise is either "light" or "barely audible". Audibly checked
