Description
Pioneers of electronica, the Silver Apples' name is whispered with reverence by those in the know. This is the original pressing, complete with picture foldout insert and Kapp company inner sleeve (there's nothing wrong with either of them, even though the picture seems to crop the top off - heh, it was a sunny day, so pictures don't always come out right). The sleeve has a drill hole top upper left (they never caught that drill maniac who put all these holes in record sleeves). The silvery foil on the cover shows signs of wear (some crackling, some ring wear), top edge has a 1 inch split near the opening side, some wear on spine as well, somewhat rounded corners. But it's a rare record. Speaking of record, it has been played, scuffing present, light scratches, will probably crackle in spots. People didn't buy records in the 60's to keep them sealed to sell on eBay 40 years later. They actually played them.
