Description
An original 1st press of BOTW on the UK CBS label. Matrix A1/B2. This is the very earliest label variation for this title - check out side 2..P.Simon is only mentioned twice. On all later copies every track has the writer mentioned against it. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an uncreditted cover which is front-laminated. These uncreditted front laminated covers amongst the first to have been produced.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition despite having seen a moderate level of use. Under close inspection there are a few marks either side with one or two just getting feelable - thankfully nothing that causes noticeable issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAR EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal and infrequent. All we could detect was a touch of static in one or two isolated moments and certainly nothing invasive. These acoustic low-key tracks really need a clean playing copy to do them any sort of justice. This is a very nice rendition of some absolute classic songs.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has been cared for down the years. A nice shiny front with only a couple of thumbnail creases. The rear is in excellent condition too with barely a crease or any ageing. Please note a previous owner has written their name neatly down in the bottom-right. Edge wear is very light and the text on the spine is still fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and is an impressive specimen.
