Description
One of the strongest and most talked about records to come out of the 90s.....Simply Red's 1991 multi-million selling 'Stars' album. It seemed to capture the particular spirit of the times.... and like all great records, raised the bar just a little higher for all the other R & B/Soul groups that were to follow. This particular pressing is technically a German(9031-75284-1) one but was produced and manufactured for the UK market(WX 427). So it is both a German AND a UK 1st pressing from 1991. The audio is absolutely fantastic with an enormous soundstage...the bass, vocals, and drums in particular are outstanding. The best sounding version of this legendary album I've ever heard.
Condition of Lp Jacket: Near Mint....showing only the slightest wear....mild scuffing to the corners....colors are vivid and bright. Original lyric inner-sleeve is included and also in NM condition.
Condition of Record: NM(-)....just a few inoffensive light ticks are heard at the very start of each side....barely noticeable but mentioned for the extremely discerning audiophile. An absolute joy to listen to and now quite rare as a 1st pressing in this condition.
