Description

An original 1st stereo press of 'Sincerely' on UK Brunswick 1W/2W. Tax Code "MT". Stampers 1B/1K - inferring it was from within the 1st few thousand copies ever pressed. Please note that in 1962 stereo was an extremely niche format. This title was probably only released late '62 in stereo format [judging by the stampers here]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original STEREO cover with pinched spine. 
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Lovely quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Given the vintage this copy is playing unbelievably well. This sort of audio relies heavily on 'presence' and atmosphere. And for that you need a quiet background. This copy will deliver the audio - throughout - like it is 1962 all over again. Finding it hard to find fault. Clean as a whistle.
Cover (Vg+) Lovely shiny front with just a few thumbnail creases at the opening. The rear has avoided the worst of the ageing process - just a bit of low level foxing in places. Hardly any edge wear with firm openings. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
