On offer here is this extremely rare and very hard to find Lp in any condition. This is gem has been neglected for so many years, and up till now it hasn't been released on cd. Don't miss the chance to win this awesome collector's item !!!
This is Salwa Katrib's debut recording from 1975. The Lp contains highlights from this memorable play premiered at the Elysee theater. It contains the beautiful ballad 'Khedni maak ala darb baidi', recently revived by Salwa's daughter the very talented Aline Lahoud during her participation in the French talent contest 'The Voice'. Also included is Salwa's beautiful version of one of Sayed Darwish's classic songs "khafif el rouh".
The fully laminated cover has signs of age such as some laminate lifting, creases and a bit of of wear at coreners. No tears or writings (see pics).
The record plays very well and sounds surprisingly very nice throughout in spite of the many visible marks from age and playing. There are no skips repeats or anything disturbing, just a few negligible clicks during soft parts and spaces between tracks.
You can hear a few short samples from the actual record on offer so you get an idea how it sounds like so you bid with confidence. Here are the links
