Description

Siouxsie & The Banshees - Official Live Tour Album - 1980
Up for auction is this unofficial/official release by Siouxsie & The Banshees. Touted as an official live tour album recorded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1980, this is actually a white label recording that was never intended for mass release. Even the date/city mentioned on the sleeve is incorrect - it was actually recorded in Paris, 1979. However, it is a lovely collection of 9 fine early Banshees songs, which are

  • Jigsaw Feeling
  • Playground Twist
  • Metal Postcard
  • The Staircase Mystery
  • Placebo Effect
  • Premature Burial
  • Switch
  • Hong Kong Garden
  • Suburban Relapse
The sound, recorded from the audience is for the most part very good. The record itself has been played at most twice so should be in pretty good shape. The sleeve has some age related creasing due to the very flimsy nature of the paper used. Also, there is a small tear along the right hand edge - this does not affect the actual front or rear of the sleeve
A Great Item for Siouxsie Fans
