Description
This is the classic Siouxsie and the Banshees boot, All Creatures Great and Small. This show was recorded in 1985 in London with John Valentine Carruthers on guitar. It's an amazing show!
The records are in good condition. There are no scratches that cause any skipping, but there are some imperfections that will create a pop here and there and hold the needle up. On Side 1, there was one spot where I had to increase the weighted leverage of the stylus to get rid of the pops and move forward (When I was teenager, I would've just taped a penny to the stylus to deal with that!). But these records are absolutely playable. I've listened to all 4-sides to confirm that, and digitally recorded it. (Contact me if you'd like a sample to confirm the sound quality).
You can also see in the pictures that the side numbers have been labeled 1 through 4 with a marker. I did this 25 years ago to deal with the fact that there were no labels to let me know which side I was listening to. I'm sure that when I did that, my bangs were hanging in my face and I was wearing all black! A cool feature of this album is that many of the songs from Tinderbox hadn't been released yet, so they are mislabeled on the track list.
The show is great. John Valentine Carruthers sounds amazing on The Sweetest Chill. Night Shift is just fierce! In my opinion, the highlight of this show is Take Me Back. It's funky! Like Stevie Wonder funky. You've got to hear it.
