Featuring performances by Beverly D'Angelo, Levon Helm and Sissy Spacek. This biographical movie about country music singer Loretta Lynn (1980, dir. Michael Apted) starred Sissy Spacek as Lynn. Tommy Lee Jones, Beverly D'Angelo and Levon Helm featured in supporting roles. Ernest Tubb, Roy Acuff, and Minnie Pearl made cameo appearances as themselves.
Condition VINYL: G+. Looks very clean on visual inspection. A few light scuffs and hairlines on side 1 and a cluster of six hairlines on side 2, but nothing major. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is good throughout. Some mild surface noise during quieter sequences and at run-ins. Some distortion in places and the odd light click. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A nice listen to an 80s country classic. OUTER SLEEVE (COVER): VG+. Colours are clear and unfaded. Gloss sheen to both sides of sleeve. A few creases in from aperture and sides. Diagonal crease in top left corner and a few towards bottom right. Light disc outline. Small stain along left of top edge. Corners show mild scuffing, edges clean and undamaged. Spine creased and crinkled but readable, aperture has only light nicks. Back sleeve has more creasing in from sides and in bottom left corner with odd light dent but overall in good shape. INNER SLEEVE: EX. Original. White paper with rounded corners. A few minor creases/folds through normal handling.
