Description

Two classic 1981 albums Simple Minds' albums on vinyl.

Discs aren't perfect:

  • 'Sons and Fascination' plays without skipping but has some audible 'clicks' - in particular, I noted a couple early in the early passages of 'In Trance As Mission', several clicks during '70 Cities' and also during  'Earth That You Walk Upon' fades out
  • 'Sister Feelings Call' is similar with audible imperfections during the Great Cities intro, Promised Land outro, Wonderful in Young Life outro into League of Nations. Unfortunately, I found the needle keeps slipping back to the same groove on the final track, Sound in 70 Cities.
With the exception of the last track on SFC, I don't think these imperfections detract much from the listening experience but I'm willing to accept a return within 14 days if you feel otherwise.
Both sleeves look good, intact and untorn, but show their age with softness around the edges and some discolouration and disc ring marks.
