Description
Sisters Of Mercy: Floodland era Boxset (including 4 records & original posters).
Included in the box is 1x original UK Floodland LP and all 3 original UK 12" companion singles from the Floodland album.
The 12" singles all feature some awesome non album tracks. All 4 are the best sounding original UK pressings from the 1980's and were purchased by me at the time of their release and have been looked after very well in my private collection (see images and individual descriptions below). Please message if you require more photos as the listing only allows for a certain number of images. They have all been cleaned by a record cleaning machine using the excellent L'Art du Son cleaning fluid and are ready for the new owner to enjoy. I have play tested all 4 records on my Project Debut Carbon deck fitted with Ortofon 2m Blue stylus. I have placed all vinyl in anti-static Polylined inner sleeves to protect the records when removed from their sleeves.
Floodland LP:
Outer Sleeve - Excellent with minimal storage wear. The spine is in tact and perfectly readable.
Inner Sleeve - Excellent with no splits. I have placed the record in an additional new black Polylined sleeve.
Vinyl - Plays beautifully with no skips or jumps. Ex condition with only a few visible marks. Sounds great with only very minimal light crackle on run ins and very quiet sections.
Poster - original poster included and is also Ex.
Lucretia My Reflection - 3 track 12" - plays Ex and sleeve also excellent. Label free of unwanted writing and vinyl protected in new Japanese poly anti static inner.
This Corrosion - 3 track 12" - plays great with minimal surface noise and sleeve is also excellent. I have placed it in Japanese anti static poly inner.
Dominion - 3 track 12" - plays great, but tiny split in the bottom of sleeve which otherwise is excellent. It's the only mentionable damage to any othe records. The Japanese polythene anti-static inner the record is kept in stops it showing through the bottom. The box features the large original Dominion poster that has remained folded in the box since purchase and is excellent.
Please note, this is not the new reissue Boxset featuring the same titles, but these are all the original reissues complete as purchased over 30 years ago!
