Description

From 1970 on the UK CBS record label comes this stunning demo 45 by Skid Row entitled "Sandy's Gone (Part 1) / Sandy's Gone (Part 2)" (4893). Housed in a company paper sleeve. Record in excellent++ condition with clean labels and a lovely sheen. Post and packing in the UK is £2.25. I sell worldwide.

This is just one of many rare and obscure records (mainly demos) from the late 60s/early 70s that I will be auctioning this week. Formerly the property of a record plugger. Most are in excellent condition or better, a lot unplayed.

A very young Gary Moore fronted this Irish progressive and blues trio who had a good live following but never really broke through with their vinyl although their first album sold well enough to get into the Album Charts. It was an average amalgam of mellow rock, heavy blues and even had a ragtime-style guitar piece. When Moore left in 1971 he was replaced by Paul Chapman, previously with South Wales band The Universe. This line-up cut an unissued album. Chapman was later in UFO and Lone Star. Moore was later in Thin Lizzy, G-Force and recorded as a solo artist.
