Skip Bifferty s/t ( RCA Victor UK Orange Label Pressing . 1969. Stereo SF7941 ) " Promotional Copy-Not For Sale " sticker on Side 1. Very rare UK pop/psych that is very seldom seen now. Second pressing from 1969 but I reckon these orange labels are actually as rare if not rarer than the black label first pressings . Very few were second pressed before it was withdrawn from print permanently in 1970. Beautiful psychedelic portrait cover has some wear around edges and spine. Slight foxing at opening edges. Slight colour loss on the black rear. Some " half moon " thumb creases . No rips tears or writing. Some small creasing at spine. Fully readable. No edge rubbing. Still pretty clean . Many a dealer would grade very good plus but I will grade a very strong VERY GOOD. Orange RCA Victor labels have " promotional copy - not for sale " sticker on side 1 as this was originally the property of a former record reviewer. Labels have very little signs of use . No spindle traces whatsoever. NEAR MINT. Heavyweight vinyl lies flat on the platter. Beautiful RCA quality vinyl. ( in my opinion the top company for vinyl quality ) gorgeous pressing. Gleams like new. Clearly this record has only been played two or three times for review purposes , that's all !..... Only tiny traces of sleeve removal seen only under direct spotlight . Glorious audio. Loud dynamic stereo panning. ( it was a new novelty in Britain back then ).... Fantastic to listen to. Easily beats the CD reissue. 1E/2E matrices. No nasty pops or clicks whatsoever. Very quiet pressing. Lovely glossy finish still very evident. There can't be many like this at this late day !.... A wonderful listen, one which I am sure will delight and enthral lovers of UK psychedelia. This is the real deal ..... a forgotten classic that is now a cult favourite and major collectable.
