Description

Up for auction released in 1968 Skip James "Devil Got My Woman" Vanguard Records VSD-79273 was his last record before his sad passing in 1969. COVER: VG++ Has a bottom right corner bend where a piece of torn shrink is missing on back with a bit of scuffing on front from storage is otherwise one of the cleanest I have seen on this particular item. RECORD: Side1. VG++ Has hard to see micro hairline sleeve wisps in the daylight with a hazy manufacturing spot on the last song that appears underneath the vinyl surface itself, and doesn't effect play is otherwise glossy clean as shown. Side2. VG++ Same as the flip side with a bit more overall superficial marks is otherwise glossy clean as shown, and both sides play the same. LABELS: Are nice with a few light spindle marks more on side2 as shown. Comes with it's Original Vanguard Inner Sleeve which has some discoloration on one side as shown with a bottom center seam split is overall still in decent shape. Will be packed in a new MoFi Sleeve also shown. Any questions please message me. Thanks for looking.

  • Mint (M): An un-played record in perfect condition. It's as pristine as it was when it left the manufacturer.
  • Near Mint (NM): A record that has been handled very carefully and has minimal wear.
  • Excellent (E): Shows minor signs of wear but plays perfectly without any significant noise.
  • Very Good Plus (VG+): May have light wear and slight surface noise but still offers a pleasurable listening experience.
  • Very Good (VG): Noticeable wear and noise are present, but the record is still enjoyable to listen to.
  • Good (G): This record grading system describes significant wear and noise, including potential skips. It's in a condition that affects the listening experience but is still playable.
  • Fair (F): Heavy wear, with skips or other playback issues, is often considered for its collectible value rather than listening quality.
  • Poor (P): Essentially unplayable but may hold value due to extreme rarity.
