Description
This is an original 1st pressing of Slayer Reign in Blood LP on 1986 Def Jam records. Legendary. What more can you say? This album set the world on its ear when it was released in '86. With its blinding speed and insane riffs, it had no equal at that time.
PLAY TESTED - since the visual grade wasn't above VG+, I tested this one. I'm happy to report that this plays nearly FLAWLESSLY! Only slight bits of crackle between the tracks, nothing even close to overpowering. During playback there were ZERO skips, ZERO pops, just some light crackle during the quietest parts (which there aren't many, it's SLAYER!). All of the brutality and sheer sonic brilliance is still here, despite the many scuffs marks and hairlines in the pic. Rest assured, you will be impressed with the full sound of this! The cover has light overall wear, VG+. The original lyric insert sleeve is here, and has a split at the bottom. This is one of the original 1st pressings, NOT a $hitty modern brickwalled repress. These are getting hard to find these days and for good reason - they sound massive! Check out the high res photos, as they are part of the description. No filters were used and all photos are taken in harsh white light, so as to show any possible flaws. Don't miss out on this one! Bid hard to win, and good luck!
All of these LPs are from my personal collection, some I have obtained from others through the last 30 years, done I bought new back in the day. They have been meticulously taken care of, maintained in an upright position in a humidity controlled room in a non-smoking home. They have always been in resealable outer plastic sleeves with the LPs stored in static free inner sleeves. These are not run of the mill, beaten up copies; they are well preserved, investment grade pieces. All LPs are visually graded unless otherwise noted. Please remember that ALL vinyl has some noise - it's inherent to the format. This can usually be minimized with good equipment, good cleaning practices and regular maintenance.
